The History Center is a non-profit organization registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State. As an institution that relies on the generosity of the public to sustain its mission, our operations are funded through private donations and further supported by Accommodations Tax revenue. Every contribution is dedicated exclusively to the maintenance and continued operation of the museum.

The Lando-Manetta Mills History Center is always seeking photographs and artifacts pertaining to the residents of Lando and the employees of the mill. Once received, these items are professionally documented and preserved by the History Center. A significant portion of our collection remains on permanent display, ensuring that these historical treasures are shared with the community and honored for generations to come.
